NCAA Eligibility

College Bound Student Athletes

If you entering a Division I or II college or university, your NCAA initial eligibility will need to be evaluated.  A student athlete should apply for certification after his/her junior year in high school if he/she is planning on participating in intercollegiate athletics as a freshman at a Division I or II institution.

Students have two options for registering with the clearinghouse.  You may complete your registration on line at http://www.ncaaclearinghouse.net or by completing and mailing a Student Release Form provided in the Guidance Office.

Important Note

Prospective student athletes from Illinois cannot use the ACT results obtained from the PSAE administered to all juniors.  NCAA Division I and II rules require that the ACT or SAT test be taken on a national testing date.
